MC's Girls
Natalie Eve Sandi // Maid of Honor // Bride's Sister
I have looked up to my NaNa since before I can remember. By the time I came around, she was almost ready to go away to college; however, she still let me hang with her and her friends...even if I may have accidentally gotten them in trouble sometimes. I lived with her for a summer after my freshman year of college, during which she taught me how to work hard and play hard! I had a blast learning to make guacamole and playing the underage bouncer sometimes at Park Tavern. I couldn't imagine our wedding without Nat by my side!
Meredith Sandi Keller // Matron of Honor // Bride's Sister
Mere, or Maudits, as I named her as a little girl, is also my fabulous big sister whom I have looked up to since birth. We appreciate the value of a good bottle of wine and a yummy block of cheese. After her adventures throughout the world, she taught me how to make Tintos which I of course have shared with my girlfriends. Mere is also mommy to our perfect flower girls, Teagan and Sophie...look for them in the balls of tulle floating down the aisle. Our wedding would not be complete without Mere and my little munchkins by my side!
Sarah Gordon Ello // Matron of Honor
Sarah and I became friends playing basketball together as 12 year olds...ohhhh how far we have come from those awkward days so long ago. After becoming BFFs at Dominican, we went on to be college and adult bunk bed roommates. You know you really like someone when you can share a tiny room AND closet with them. Needless to say, Sarah is always there for me, and I'm so honored she'll be standing with me on the big day!
Lauren Elizabeth Serio
I was so excited and nervous to meet Lauren for the first time because I knew how special she was to her big bro, Chris. Luckily, it went well and we hit it off so here we are today. Lauren is a hilarious, super talented chick who always knows how to make us laugh. Ironically, until recently, Lauren lived just a block away from Natalie and Chris in Atlanta. Small world! I am so excited to be gaining a wonderful new sister!
Kayla Layne Hahn
Kayla has been a part of our family for a while now...my brother, Joe, is so lucky to call her his girlfriend, and we are all so lucky to have another chick in the family to help us handle our "man's man" of a brother. When Nat, Mere, and I can't understand why Joe won't give us the affection we need from him, Kayla is there to take his place. We love her! Kayla and I especially love tanning on the beach, and dancing and singing along to Lorde and "Fancy."
Jessica Sita Couch
Jess was one of my first friends at Dominican in 8th grade. Although I am sometimes a bit shy, Jess immediately made me feel comfortable. We shared so many great times at DHS and LSU...especially over snow crab salads at Hello. We also share a special love for our alma mater, Dominican, where Jess works now. We recently had a blast working on the latest DHS recruitment video where Jess and I enjoyed introducing Chris to crazy Rally Day...something no man could ever be prepared for!
Mary Wilderotter Dale
We shared most of our college classes at LSU (and some at DHS), so it is safe to say we have endured some of the most brutal study/cram sessions together. From scheduling my college classes to outlet shopping for me, Mary always knows what I need. One of my fondest and scariest memories with Mary was when a wild frog in my trunk and a gust of wind caused our school camera to crash and break during a weekend video project. Mary's husband, Stephen, had to bring us our favorite Chinese food as we coped with this stress on my couch.
Emily Karas Ockerlund
Emily was also one of the first friends I made at Dominican in 8th grade! We shared lots of fun times as young Dominicanites...from Freshman Induction to the volleyball court as PHAT Chicks...haha. She is quite the chef, so it's always fun learning about her new adventures in cooking and taste testing her delicious baked goods. From helping Chris and I move into our home, to setting up for his 30th birthday party, Em is always there for us.
Lauren Gresham Stone
Another DHS bestie, Lauren and I especially became close cuddling our way through Sophomore year of college at LSU. We enjoyed lots of LOST and Bogies nights, and now I love taking her yummy recipes and sharing our true appreciation for the beach. If anyone needs advice on what items to pack for Rosemary, Lauren has you covered! Lauren is a sweet, compassionate friend who knows how to strut her stuff in a sassy pair of heals! Hehe...
Lindsay Randazzo Thompson
As you can see, Lindz is my oldest friend! We have been friends since our bleacher days at Lakeshore playground. She has been making me laugh for over 20 years...especially with homemade music videos of her own performances. We were roommates at LSU where Lindz accompanied me on many of my broadcast adventures, from interviewing a honey making bee keeper to choosing outfits for my Tiger TV sports anchoring. We then went on to share bunk beds and very little closet space in our house on Hesper...it's safe to say, we have some funny stories to share!
