Chris' Guys
Andrew Serio // Best Man // Groom's Brother
Best man and brother, Andrew Serio has enjoyed the longest relationship with the groom. He is scheduled to be Papa Serio around late August with his beautiful wife, Jenny. // "One of the greatest memories with Andrew is when I stood as his best-man. It was a great celebration and a forever moment."
Joe Palmer
Groomsman Joe Palmer is brother to MaryClare. He likes playing basketball with his boys and hanging with his girlfriend, Kayla (bridesmaid). Ask him about his recent adventure trip to Europe! // "I like Joe, he always wears cool shoes, hip t-shirts, and is an artist. Also, I think Andrew and Joe may be kindred spirits."
Justin Keller
Justin Keller is arguably the best cyclist in the bunch. Justin, his wife Meredith who is sister of the bride, and their two children live in sunny Arizona. // "Justin is a great dude with a contagious laugh. It's always a good time hanging with him."
Chris Gwin
Chris Gwin, co-master of the universe alongside the other Chris, makes a habit of living everyday to the fullest. He and sister of the bride, Natalie are traveling from their home in Atlanta. // "The BBQ grate for the annual cocktail party...I still laugh when thinking about the crazed local / bar patron / friend that let Chris G borrow his 7'x7' grate for the pig roast and his hilarious 'universe is moving' and 'energy is shifting' conversation. Deep stuff!"
Joey Bordelon
From LSU to India, Joey Bordelon is one of the groom's oldest friends. Literally, even though, Joey looks like the youngest...in fact he is the oldest of the bunch. He is a great friend and the nature photographer of the group. // "We have more than a decade of great times, road trips, etc... so it's pretty hard to pinpoint a best moment. I do remember Joey welcoming me into the society of bald men in college with a free shave on his car port."
Lars Carlson
Lars, aka The Hobbyist, has been friends with the groom for several years. He is the most experienced crawfish boiler in the group. Whether it's playing poker (and usually winning) or serving pork nachos outside Tiger Stadium, Lars is full of pleasant commentary. // "Lars is a good guy who occasionally buys a round of drinks, if he bought more I would consider him a great friend. No seriously, he's a great guy. Check please!"
Kevin Ello
The tallest and perhaps most organized of the groomsmen, Kevin, has been a great friend to Chris over the past years. Together they enjoyed many double dates with wife Sarah. Chris is super jealous of Kevin's new truck. // "Always fun times with Kevin, whether it's Saint's tailgating or hanging with Lola (his dog) and Bacchus (our dog) in his backyard. Kevin is a terrific guy."
Guy Lefort
From Costa Rica to parts unknown, Guy has known Chris for quite a while. It was not until his move to New Orleans that he and Chris really caught their stride. Guy is the proud new father of Pierre along with his fiancé, Farrah! // "It's super cool when the first of your close friends has a child. You definitely get to see a whole new world open up."
Scott Ockerlund
Scott and Chris originally met through his wife Emily (bridesmaid). Now several dozen cigars later and a desire to see live music has allowed these two to become close friends. // "I remember playing pool until the death with Pascal Manale at Dos Jefe's cigar bar. Pascal won the battle that night and we believe spiked our drink, not cool. Freaking Pascal!"
Collin Richie
Collin is one of the groom's best friends. Thousands of miles travelled together between college and work, 4-time roommates, another photographer, and all-around good, but often times, argumentative friend. Collin has been there since the early days of LSU media. // "Collin was my first college friend really, and hard to believe it's been almost 13 years. Wow. Many years, many stories, and I expect a lot more in the future."
